Instructions

  1. Taste a date to check its sweetness and softness, adjusting filling amount if needed.
  2. Slice each Medjool date lengthwise and remove the pits.
  3. Fill each date with a spoonful of creamy peanut butter, avoiding overfilling.
  4. Slowly melt the dark chocolate until silky smooth, using a double boiler or microwave in short bursts.
  5. Drizzle the melted chocolate over each peanut-butter-stuffed date.
  6. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top of each date.
  7. Optionally, sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt over each date.
  8. Place the assembled dates in the fridge until the chocolate is fully set.
