Instructions

  1. In a bowl, blend 1 cup softened unsalted butter with ½ cup lobster meat and ½ cup crab meat until smooth and creamy (2–3 minutes).
  2. Stir in the zest and juice of 1 lemon, 2 cloves minced garlic, and 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning; season with salt and pepper to taste and mix thoroughly (about 2 minutes).
  3. Drop the mixture onto parchment paper and shape into a tight log about 2 inches wide; roll tightly, fold ends, and wrap securely.
  4. Refrigerate the wrapped log for at least 2 hours until firm.
